Good Buffet.Not top shelf but good,

I regularly come by buying some food in here. I loved the fast customer service and well made dishes. 5 stars from me.

I placed a large order the day before New Year’s Eve. The gentleman on the phone was so patient and accommodating! He spoke with me four different times to make sure the order was correct. It was short notice and he is a superstar. The food was delicious and we had plenty! Thank you China Moon - we will be back!

I really like this place!! Good food and really reasonable prices. They recently remodeled and I love their new decor. Tons of parking.

Food outrageously yummy! Buffet includes desert. Staff sweeter than the sweet sauce. Sat at Bar in afternoon. Will definitely go back!

I haven't had china Moon in 20 years because of job relocation. I'm now back and had China Moon food for the first time today. It's EXACTLY like it was 20 years ago. Good portions, delicious.

Have been going here for decades. While the food is not necessarily the best, it is good just the same. Never been disappointed. Nice people, EXCELLENT service.

Best Chinese food buffet on the north shore. Our family and I only go there for the buffet so can't say much about takeout, bar, or ordering food. The owner is very nice and understands quality and not quantity.

Glad dining room there is back open again. No buffet due to covid 19. Can see the new social distancing setup in there. Been getting by the past few months with takeout from the Moon. Happy to be sitting in the dining room having a Mai Tai with our sushi and Chinese Food. Good, hot, and generous portions. Staff is very efficient too.

Above average buffet. Super friendly service. Good option for holidays. Can't beat $15 per person.

Hate to do this....But this is our first time and our last time here. Food was below average. It takes forever for food to come out and our server was never around.........

This is by far the worst Chinese buffet I have ever went to. All food was over cooked. All food was too crispy. Not much of a choice for $17 a pop. Really not much of a choice to eat. Desert only has pineapple and a few pieces of watermelon. They have ice cream but you need to ask for it and they give you one little spoon. They hide it.

Firstly, i walk in and the place smells like piss. I'm immediately greeted by a man who says its too early for me to eat because the food isnt ready yet.....it's 3:45pm. Alright.

Good food big buffet and friendly service. Love the spare ribs but crab ragoon could have used some crab I didn't see any. Rice was delicious. Chicken fingers great. Nice and crispy

Luncheon buffet ....food sits too long. Prefer luncheon specials, much better

This spot constantly delivers. They have fresh food for affordable rates, there are no long waits even when the spot is packed.

Haven't been here for awhile and came away disappointed. Service was fine however food quality and prep has diminished significantly. Chicken was overcooked and drenched in oil and the pork fried rice had a burned taste from being on the stove too long.

Lost some quality on the food from December 2018!! Inconsistent food quality! Place is always dead. Gave 3 Starz out of pity for the place!

Buffet had enough choices, food was good service was good.. reasonably priced for all you can eat.... Will return for sure.

Got the honey mustard ham, they handed me slices of ham with literal honey mustard spread on them like peanutbutter. When no one was looking threw a slice behind the fake tree in the back. It stuck to the wall.

Good but not great

China Moon is back and better than ever! Barry has brought this restaurant forward to a beautiful state of art facility, and the same old friendly staff is back. Barry's vision of a great place for a family friendly place to eat is fully realized. The best buffet around!

Fast service. Hot food. But nothing unique about it.

Owner seems very courteous and polite and the remodeling gives the restaurant a much needed upgrade over the outdated look that it once had...............With that being said the food at the buffet didn’t seem so fresh and the variety is very limited. I came a little after 1pm so maybe at dinner is when they pull out all the bells and whistles but for the price of $10.95 I guess it was good enough.The Lo mein was undercooked fettuccine drenched in soy sauce and the general chicken was soggy and smelled odd.There are so many better Chinese restaurants in the area fusion being one.Edit, 10 hours later and charmin ultra is required

We may live in Florida now but China Moon is the first stop we make when we come back to Stoneham to visit the food is always excellent the service is always top notch and it's always a pleasure to see Barry

Definitely a place worth trying, the food is great and fresh, the rates are reasonable and it is regularly well kept in here. Highly recommended.

Been going here for over 30 years. Food has been very good all that time. Always fast to get served and always very good. They have a buffet that is very good and when the buffet isn't available they have dinner specials that are reasonably priced and also very good. We have also had a few private parties here. They all went off without any problems and everyone loved the food.

Excellent...fast friendly service, very clean inside and out. Ample parking. Huge portions of great fresh food.

The food was a disaster. Out of 5 pounds 3.5 went to the trash. And what we did eat was hard to swallow. Especially the spare ribs. I haven't seen that style in 40 years!! Cut costs in the right places guys!! Get a real chef or a new owne what a waste of good food.

They renovated the place it looks good.They have a great buffet but it's not always out. Only during busy times. Great boneless ribs! Hot mustard! Yum!UPDATE: 1 week after I gave my review they went out ...It was closed on Tuesdays, every Tuesday it’s closed. I was wrong. So sorry 😐 OMG

Food was less than good. Place was dark and noone there. Ghosttown. I grew up going to the Moon. Now its fallen to the dunes. Not worth another visit.

My favorite spot around the people are very nice and relaxing

Not what they used to be. Place is dead, excellent if you want a quiet meal. Doesn't have a happening vibe. Quality of the food down from 4 star before they did the remodel. No wait lots of attention from the staff.
